Each day around 1000 people move to Florida.

Land requires less up front costs and can earn huge returns when the timing and location are right.

St Lucie County Florida
St. Lucie County is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States and the third fastest in Florida. Located about two-thirds of the way down the Atlantic Coast of the Sunshine State, St. Lucie's 588 square miles contain three municipalities as well as acres of unincorporated rural lands, and is blossoming with modern subdivisions, stimulated by a rapidly increasing population. St. Lucie's major cities, Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, are approximately 120 miles north of Miami and 225 miles south of Jacksonville. One of four counties known collectively as the Treasure Coast, St. Lucie lies between Indian River County to the north, Martin County to the south, and Okeechobee County to the west. The area's treasure is more than the cargo of ships wrecked offshore.

In the past 5 years, land prices have skyrocketed. With quarter acre lots going from $10,000 - $12,000 in 1999 to their current pricing of $75,000 - $80,000. In this time, investors saw HUGE gains with minimal investment.

Paid: $42,000 for 1/2 acre in 2002
Sold: $160,000 in 2004

Citrus County Florida
Located along Florida's west-central coast and the Gulf of Mexico, Citrus County is approximately 70 miles north of Tampa and 60 miles northwest of Orlando. The north and north-east sides of the county are bound by the Withlacoochee River, the east by the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes and the west by the Gulf of Mexico.

Rolling hills and naturally beautiful crystal clear springs and rivers and lakes teeming with exotic wildlife set this section of Florida apart from other counties. Environmentally and ecologically conscious, Citrus County (pop. 110,000) has set aside over 152,000 acres out of its 683-square miles to preserve wildlife. Most noteworthy, Citrus County is the home to the largest herd of endangered manatees in the state.

In the past 2 years, land prices have begun to rise steadily. Quarter acre lots were priced between $4,000 - $5,000 a few years ago. Their current pricing of $17,000 - $25,000 shows a trend, this could be the next big area in Florida.
